5.0 out of 5 stars Profound wisdom, 29 April 2003
This is a unique and special book. I am now in the position of having to sell in order to grow my business and I have read everything I can get my hands on about sales. Even after reading every technique and strategy avaialble, sales was still an emotional struggle for me. The pain of doing it was damaging me and my business. This book gave me a completely new mindset around sales and it has helped me to treat this as fun so that I can really put the theories I have learned to work. This book made me laugh more than any I can think of in a long time. Stop struggling and read this!

4.0 out of 5 stars Bandler's own unique stance on sales, life and the world!, 14 Feb 2002
By A Customer
Now anyone who has seen Richard Bandler onstage will know what I am talking about. The guy is a stand up comedian and genius who uses NLP to sell his unique blend of humour, irreverance and "life" advice.

This book is billed as as sales and influence book but (in my opinion) is no more than a light read in the world of sales learnings. The problem is that the learnings are all at a subconscious level and even then some of them are somewhat dubious!

If you want to understand the mind of a genius somewhat better, have the NLP skills to learn subconsciously or are a Bandler fan then read it. If you want a fun light personal development style read then read it. If you are a sales person and none of the above apply then there are better places to start.

A good book if you know why you a reading it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great, 9 Jan 2007
By Stephen Lavery (Ireland) - See all my reviews

Im totally agreeing with that last comment.

The book is a really good read and points out how to master communication in any sales process. Everything from matching voice tone to organising a better mental picture in your brain. A lot of the stuff I was aware of from a few other Bandler books and seminars but the way it is applied here is mind-blowing.
Even if you're not a professional salesperson this book can be used to learn to get rapport with everyone you meet or sell yourself to get that girl/guy you're after. If you have seen, read or listened to any of his stuff before you will know that it is written the way it is for a reason.
