This book by the legendary living astrologer Robert Pelletier consists of a complete set of aspect delineations, which adheres logically and consistently to the principles of planetary symbolism in combination, offering separate thorough delineations for every particular type of aspect (conjunction, sextile, square, quincunx or opposition) for each planetary combination - a feat unmatched by Liz Greene or Sue Tompkins. Unlike Liz Greene's and Howard Sasportas's work, this is devoid of mythological diversions, and framed firmly in observable reality. It is unpretentious and lucid, yet sensitive, highly observant and detailed, mature and humane. Considered alongside Charles Carter's 'The Astrological Aspects', and perhaps Karen Hamaker-Zondag's 'Aspects and Personality', you can't go far wrong with these aspect interpretations. Haydn Paul improved on them further in his oustanding series of books on the Sun, Moon, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, but aspects between Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn were never covered by him. This leaves Pelletier's book to this day comprising the most complete set of natal aspect delineations available in one volume, although excluding aspects to the Moon's Nodes and Midheaven.

It looked promising in the shop, and I thought that it could be a good reference book in this subject by an author I hadn't heard of before. However, his interpretation of major aspects is not in-depth enough, not very "accurate".He gives very simple answers and seems to be focusing a lot in career advice.If you've read Greene, Sasportas or Idemon you'll find this book childish...
