25 years ago I was glued to the TV watching pictures of the armed forces heading south, facing danger, re-taking the Falklands and then heading home. However the TV failed to cover the support aspect of the operation. This book covers, pictorially, the build up and early stages of the campaign. Using black and white pictures it illustrates the huge logistical situation. Of course there's the military hardware, but also the Auxilliaries and merchant fleets. A fascinating insight giving a clearer picture of the true extent of the "Task Force"
