5.0 out of 5 stars My Bible for Cooking Curries since 1982, 4 April 2005
By Mr A W B Stalker (Polmont, Stirlingshire United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
As a student at Glasgow University in the late sixties, I learned to eat curries around the University. The best was, of course, the Shish Mahal. Not licensed, but you could take your own drinks (probably better for students!). Mr Ali Aslam would never allow the recipes from the Shish Mahal to be known - until the wedding of Prince Charles and Diana. The City of Glasgow donated a hospice to the Royal couple as their wedding present - and Mr Aslam gave us his cookery book, the proceeds of which went to the hospice. I was never a cook - but this book is a masterpiece for amateurs! You can find the spices nowadays quite easily - follow the recipes! ENJOY!

5.0 out of 5 stars Very happy
Excellent product that arrived swiftly in perfect condition. Can't ask for any more than that. The basic production of recipes is well overshadowed by the fantastic taste... Read more
