Quite simply if you are going to undertake a full restoration of a Series One or even if you are an owner who just wants to do your own maintenance then you cannot afford to be without this wonderful book. There are other restoration guides available but rest assured buying the official workshop manual is money well spent. It is very detailed, very clear and uses superb line drawing to show exactly how to take the vehicle apart and (more importantly) how to put it back together. If like me you find Haynes manuals hard to fathom with the unclear, dark photographs and ambiguous instructions then this book is a very refreshing change and clearly shows that "older is definately better"......

I even find myself reading this book purely for enjoyment - yes I am a Series One nut (my wife would say obsessed!) but it is that interesting and easy to read. Buy it, for the price it is an absolute 'must have' book.
