5.0 out of 5 stars For England and Saint George, 9 Feb 2002
By A Customer
A hundred page hard-back volume which relates the life and legends of England's Patron Saint. It tells how St. George became the Patron Saint of England and how his Feast Day has been celebrated as England's Day, ending with a call for a concerted effort to restore St. George's Day to its former glory. This book is essential reading for those interested in myth and legend and those English who would like to see a new England setting an example of just, kind and honest dealing for the rest of the World.
