5.0 out of 5 stars Oh what a lovely book!, 6 Nov 2005
At last, a book written by someone who actually knows about the pier; someone who worked on it!

Well written and concise - this book would make an ideal gift for someone who may share, or wish to share in, the life of an employee with many great memories of this illustrious pier.

From famous visitors to visiting dolphins - Daphne lets us into an insight of life into the nation's only Grade II listed pier.
