Synopsis
This book was first published under the pen name of George Bourne. Sturt took the name of the Surrey heathland vilage where he lived - The Bourne, three miles south of Farnham. "Change in the Village" was first published in 1912, when he was 50. It provides an analysis of the ways and thoughts of village men and women at the time.
