This little book is often used to teach the principles of the Old Irish language. Though the glossary is incomplete and the grammar rules not always clearly evident to one not familiar with Indo-European linguistics, it is a fun book to wrestle with. The translating of the Irish Glosses is more challenging knowing one is translating actual notes scribbled in the margins of centuries old texts.
