A comprehensive book which covers how to cook almost anything. Many of the recipies are old fashioned and simple while being superb.

5.0 out of 5 stars "Dough School", 28 Jan 2007
My mother was at the college in the 1930's and had a copy of the original version. My wife and I have a well thumbed version of the 1970's version and I just wondered if there was a newer model as times have moved on! Absolutely an indispensible tool in the kitchen but it would be nice if it recognised recipes outside of Scotland!
