5.0 out of 5 stars This Bible places a deeper grasp of the truth within reach., 6 Mar 1999
By A Customer
I am a minister who specializes in ministry to the Jewish people. And though I disagree with some of the sub-headings and some of what is written at the beginning of each book, this Bible places a deeper understanding of God's truth within close reach. When you understand certain meanings of words (which this Bible is special for) you can better discuss your faith. It's a convenient tool to take wherever you go.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellant Source for the serious Bible Student, 12 Jul 1998
By A Customer
Of all the Bibles I own, this is definately my favorite. It contains the entire Hebrew and Greek dictionaries with reference numbers embeded into the text for quick look up. In addition, there are complete sections of Lexical Aids to both the Old and New Testaments. There are scripture cross references and non-denominational commentaries throughout. When carrying this Bible you have a complete Bible Study and reference library at your fingertips.

5.0 out of 5 stars Get the NASB version--wish I would have, 11 Mar 1999
By A Customer
I agree--this is a great tool. I think the NASB translation, being the most literal, lends itself most aptly to this sort of thing. I love the NIV, but when you're doing Greek-Hebrew studies, it's better to have a literal translation.

This is still a must-have Bible, unless you know Hebrew and Greek and can read it without help. :-)
