3.0 out of 5 stars While this was recommended to me, I found it to be lacking., 6 Mar 2000

I'm writing my first non-fiction book and really need to know manuscript basics, like are you allowed to put anything into italics or do you underline to emphasis a word or phrase? How do you properly insert a quote into a line of text? Is there a differentiation between single quote marks and double quote marks? What is the best font, etc.

The bulk of the chapter related to my project was how to type the title page, the acknowlegements, etc.

It seemed an expensive book for providing only half the information.
