4.0 out of 5 stars Recommend to all Ju-jitsu students, 21 Jan 2003

A good book. The step-by-step pictures along with its narrative are easy to understand. However, the book only cater for students who are already familiar with the basic, as there is little illustration for beginners. Also contains useful move for female in every day vulnable situation.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Book!, 10 Mar 2005
After training in Thai Boxing for 4 years on & off a friend of my introduced me to Ju-Jitsu. Taking an interest in this I then looked for a book on techniques and came across this book & its reviews of which I found helpful. I can recommend this book for beginners. It is easy to follow and will have you doing finger & arm locks in no time at all! Buy this book and get some hands on training.

5.0 out of 5 stars AN EXCELLENT BOOK!!, 4 April 1998
By A Customer
This book is great! It shows several techniques using Wally Jay's Small-Circle theory that work effectively and can be learned quickly. This book is great for people who have experience in the fighting arts or for people who don't. The techniques are clearly described with easy-to-follow, step-by-step illustrations. I highly recommend this book, one of the best martial arts books I've read!!
