Have no fear pianists! You've bought your DVD, and the tunes are rattling around in your head; not only the main songs and set pieces but Sondheim's incidental music (although it's hardly incidental!).
This book contains the LOT arranged for piano, if it's for a production, then your rehearsal pianist wants and needs this book. It really is extremely enjoyable to play, listen to, and sing, and this vocal score, unlike so many others in its category, fulfils all your hopes of being able to play and actually sound like your favourite numbers.
Enjoy the beauty of Sondheim's themes - everyone has their own favourites but 'I know things now' and the divine 'No-one is alone' hold a special place in my heart!

Well, I'm not sure I really should be reviewing this book as I haven't got it but I HAVE been in a production of Into The Woods and this book seems the perfect thing for a musical theatre maniac like myself. Even as I'm typing this thing up I'm listening to the music from Woods on my iPod - thank you iTunes for having some great music!
