This is a re-write of the first ever Murder, She Wrote book written by Donald Bain, and really sets the scene for the rest of the series. Mystery writer Jessica Fletcher is in London for a writers' convention, and to visit her good friend and fellow writer, Marjorie Ainsworth. However the trip turns nasty when Marjorie is found murdered, and Jessica herself is a suspect.
This book also features the first meeting between Jessica Fletcher and Inspector George Sutherland, an important recurring character in other novels in Donald Bain's series. Definitely worth reading!

These books are so easy to read and the condition is excellent. The only problem is the delivery. The delivery from the sister shop in another part of America took 6 days, this took 30 days, not good.
