5.0 out of 5 stars WARNING!!! This book can seriously change your life for good, 4 Feb 2002
By A Customer
Undoubtly Confessions of a Kamikaze Cowboy is the most life changing book I have read to date.

Dirk Benedict recalls fascinating experiences from his life, from his meat eating childhood days, the tragic death of his father, his hollywood acting career, his introduction to macrobiotics and his own cancer battle and victory.

In his book, the author raises strong opinions about health and diet, the medical profession and advertising, opinions which you may not always agree with but it will make you question your own beliefs.

This book is beautifully written, touching and funny, I highly recommend this book to everyone.

5.0 out of 5 stars You are what you eat.....Like it or Lump It!, 13 April 1999
By A Customer
Well, What can I say, I read the reviews with a little apprehension, Then I bought the book and........Wow, I read it from Start to Finish in record time. Just the simple comprehension of taking complete control of your life, literally by changing what you eat. I am forever changed. Dirk puts you into the situation he had to deal with, and elates you with how he overcomes adversity. It's an excellent book. Even if you are just the slightest bit curious on how to improve your life, your diet or just your general well being, you should give this book a try. Well done Dirk...I love it when a book comes together!

5.0 out of 5 stars Even For The Teenage Soul, 15 Sep 1999
By A Customer
'Confessions Of A Kamikaze Cowboy' is one out of many autobiographies that have been written by actors. But it's one out the few that can really make people's life different. Not only in their way of thinking, but also in their lifestyle. But it's not that this book has TAUGHT me to think this way, but it's his experience supported by opinions that made me RECONSIDER my view of life. Though I still don't fully agree with them, I knew while reading the book that it's hís opinion, and I respect that.
