I include this book in my Reiki level one attunment package. It reiterates how reiki works in real life and how it can help others in need. Helps the new student to undrstand that Reiki is not some sort of new age, wooly treatment. I went onto level two and masters after using this book.

A first class review of Reiki and its uses. An important book that gives evidence of how the medical community can incorporate the teachings of Reiki into their work and create a totally holistic approach to patient care. It gives many examples of how Reiki is used before, during and after operations and how medical staff have noticed and commented on how it has lessened the length of operations, how people have healed much quicker than expected and how people are aided with healing mentally as well as physically. While in hospital, patients are so calm after receiving the benefits of Reiki that a lot of their fears are alleviated, making it an easier time for all.

A great book to give to the intellectual sceptic of complementary medicine. The evidence is all here - Reiki is up and running in hospitals and being used by all grades of medical staff. This is a proven account of its great benefits and far-reaching effects in the medical world. Let's hope medical workers throughout the world take note and this wonderful therapy gradually spreads around the globe, healing one and all.

SYNOPSIS

The human body, more than just a collection of functioning parts, is a flowing energy field, continually reorganizing and restructuring itself. This is one of the few books on the market today that claims to be about Reiki that truly is about Reiki. The authors are accomplished Reiki Masters. Describing Reiki to a reader who has never had an experience of Reiki is not easy, but these authors do so very well. Reiki Master Ambika Collins
