A veteran investigative journalist and the author of 13 books on a variety of subjects, Tom Valentine describes himself as a "hands-on" researcher who begins with skepticism rather than faith. He has published his own newspaper and magazines, and has been a syndicated health and nutrition columnist. Carole Valentine's interest in health-related subjects began in the late 1960s when her son was seriously ill.
