2.0 out of 5 stars Low production values and uninspiring content., 15 Aug 2000
By A Customer
This book is let down by some poor photography: the colors are very gray and dull. There are some good techniques for "building" houses, which can form the basis of your own designs, but the examples in the book are uninspiring. The techniques for embellishment and decoration (plants, tiles, windows etc) are crude. I'd recommend Sue Heaser's Doll's House book instead -- though it's about a different subject, its techniques can be widely applied and it is much better produced.
