I found the material contanied in this preparation kit very useful to get an idea of how the test might look like. However it lacks more detalied information about the computer based paper. Moreover it doesn't contain any useful tips about exam strategies, so if you have to bump up your scores in a short period of time, this kit is unlikely to provide you with a useful solution. Anyway, I realised that after taking the third or forth test my scores have already increased, not drastically, but satisfactory: in fact it helps you to realise what kind of questions you are likely to get on the exam. Also, if you are not used to the North Americant accent, the listening practice will help you to overcome the difficulty. In my case it turned out in 4 or 5 more right answers after a single test! The CD-ROM, which is also included in the kit, is helpful not only for the ones who are not very familiar with the test, but for everybody. In fact, the computer based test is quite different from the paper based one, so getting used to the different modalities, times, questions, etc. from the very beginning is certainly a big advantage.
