Don't be deceived by the Fells Official Know-it-all packaging - this has to be the text of the original Harry Lorayne, How to Develop a Super Power Memory book from the 1970s. I first read this as a second hand book my dad brought home. And I did very quickly astonish my friends by the "memorise a deck of cards after it is called out to you once" trick - in and out of order and any card with any position in the deck!

The associations and peg words can now be found on Wikipedia or for example on the University of Amsterdam website, but the style of Harry Lorayne's book is irresistably simple and gets you underway with the system so quickly that you have memorised a 22 digit number practically without realising it. A lovely quirky and depending on the use you put the system to, potentially extremely valuable book.
