"Your Guinea Pig: A kids Guide to Raising and Showing" is the best available book on the subject that can be found for "kids" of all ages. As a guinea pig breeder for over 10 years, I have finally found the book I have been searching for. This book covers basic care and handling of the guinea pig as well as showing your guinea pig. Topics such as breeding your guinea pig are handled in such a way as to make one think before proceeding on such a project. Advice on finding a good veterinarian as well as knowing when you need a veterinarian are covered. This is the book that I recommend to every newcomer to the guinea pig fancy, young or old. This is the best guinea pig book you can find any where! This book covers all the info you'll ever need to know about guinea pigs! Even though this amount may seem like a lot of money, I'll tell you, IT'S WORTH IT! I would choose this book over any other guinea pig book....no hesitation!
