One of the most comprehensive references available. It could not be more reasonably priced. This is the first book I look into when I want to find a species.

If you are new to Orchids or have been around a while you will find this bood to be a wealth of information on the subject! Good, sound advice for the novice as well as the experienced grower! A wealth of pictures in color and it covers 1100 species!!! If you don't have a book on Orchids, get this one first. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

WONDRFULLY DONE, THIS BOOK HAS HUNDREDS OF COLOR PHOTOS OF ORCHID SPECIES AND TELLS THEIR CLIMATIC REQIREMENTS. IT IS A MUST HAVE TITLE FOR ANY BEGINNING OR INTERM. LEVEL OF ORCHID HOBBIEST. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND IT.
