I was very dissapointed with this book. There were not 15,000 names as many had a name with twenty different spellings of it! Also the name origins are vague and spurious to say the least. A very American bias. Not good value at all. Not recommended.

This book was very disappointing; it has less content than those given free with monthly Pregnancy/Birth/Baby magazines.

I have never read any of Bruce Lansky's books, but now I am sure that he is a great author. If I can find any more of his books I will surely read them. I had to find out what my name meant, and I found my name with a definition, origin, and root word. I also found what every person in my family meant. I was so surpriseed! I just couldn't believe my eyes! I would recommend this book to anyone I know.
