This book is about the Austins living in a city and discovering a different world to the one they are familiar with of peacefull love. At times the book is distrubing - it confronts split loyalties, street gangs and more. The plot is of a mysterious kind and when I initially read the book I was puzzled by the story. In later years I returned to it and it has since become one of my best loved books. It can be read as part of the Austin series or on its own.
