4.0 out of 5 stars Classic AD&D Addition, 18 Sep 2003
The Fiend Folio was one of the most original releases from TSR(UK)Ltd in the early days of Dungeons and Dragons before commercialism took over the industry.

This is a classic collection of strange and wonderful creatures created for the classic role-play game of Dragons, elves dwarves and goblins created by TSR in the late 70's. The unique qualities possessed by this book was that the majority of the creative input was not by the 'professionals' or from historical base/myth or legend, but from the normal individuals who submitted work through a role-play magazine in the UK called White Dwarf in a small article called Fiend Factory.

For use with the classic 2nd edition of advanced dungeons and dragons game we find inside the covers of this manual detail on many creatures from the Aarakocra (Bird man) through to the Yellow musk Zombie. Each creature is detailed in its race, abilities, languages and full statistics for use in the game.

This is now a classic collector’s item but still finds its way back into the game when you require something unexpected to surprise that jaded player of the game who has seen everything.

For all serious players / collectors I would recommend the purchase of this item to complete your collection.
