This has to be without doubt, the worst book I have ever read on the subject of PERL. I was expecting a book about automation of windows, the only hint of automation is a self-written scheduling package in PERL to replace CRON. A chapter on how great MS OFFICE is to use with PERL, tells you almost nothing, apart from how to print a word document. This book doesn't deserve the 1 crown I have given it. IF you want a decent book on automation of windows by WIN32 PERL programming (the standard extensions) by Dave Roth, it has 1000x the content of this book. What a huge disappointment and waste of money this book turned out to be.
