Being a Bass Player Publication, this book has general information on "best (bass) pratices" but the main feature is the interviews with state of the art studio bassists. Many entertaining anecdotes can be read and tips can be picked up. However, the main attraction is that you get a taste of life behind the studio pane, it really wet my appetite. By the way, the book has a sibling called "Bass Heroes" that covers life on the road and on stage.
