5.0 out of 5 stars A terrific book from an outstanding educator!, 12 Aug 1999
By A Customer
As an individual who has taught at the same school as Sandy Rief, I can attest that what you read in this book can be applied to your classroom. The author is an amazing teacher, who has exceptional knowledge about children with ADD and ADHD. She has taken this knowledge and put it into a book so she can help others who work with these wonderful children.

5.0 out of 5 stars Practical advice providing hope for desperate parents, 22 Jul 1999
By A Customer
This book is extremely practical. It describes my 11 year old son perfectly. I was desperate, thinking that there was something wrong with my son, with our family, and now I see that he has a physical neurological problem. The book provides practical advice to parents and teachers on how to deal with these wonderful special children who need to be treated differently in order to maintain their self esteem and grow to be valuable members of society. Very highly recommended.
