I am a regisrered massage therapist, and I made the mistake of buying this book, a complete waste of time and money. Does not inform on contraindications, and is more concerned on the art of self-massage. If you want a reputable book on sports massage then see the books by Mel Cash or Tim Paine. Do not buy this one!
