I hadn't heard of Apprecitive Inquiry until I met Diana Whitney at the Systemic Management conference in Vienna (may 2001). I learned the importance to look for the positive, for the "good" examples (in stead of focussing on what goes wrong). An example: instead of studying "sexual harasment", start looking for examples of proper work relations between man & woman and find out what one can learn from that. Appreciative Inguiry teaches you how to combine the positive examples of a whole company, this releasing an enourmous amount of positive energy.
