I would recommend this book to every single French horn player out there. Buy this book if only for the warm up section, it's fantastic. I have noticed a substantial improvement and I've only had the book a week!

This is a great book for all horn players to own, especially beginning hornists. I used it during my years at the Interlochen Arts Center and while a student of Greg Hustis at SMU. I still refer to it from time to time, and would recommend that all beginners own a copy.

"Art of French Horn Playing" by Farkas is a must and bible for horn players. Never seen a book so complete with problems and SOLUTIONS discussed.
