A really engrossing & absorbing book which chronicles the development, evolution & service record of the aircraft.The book is well written & engages from the start.
There are chapters on the conception of the plane, the struggle to realise its potential & the amazing story of its early construction.
The chapters on operations are very well done & there are some very interesting appendices, which will be a boon for the committed enthusiast.
A thoroughly enjoyable read about a design marvel & wonderful aeroplane.
