The real problem in self defense isn't a matter of techniqueWhen i wrote "Bouncer's Guide" my real motivation was to let decent
people know how the ambusher, sucker puncher
etc operates so they could spot and avoid these people.
Since that time I have spent some years interviewing rapists, killers and
others both in and out of America's prisons. I discovered they were all basically the same
in their though patterns and modus operandi. That is, the bullies
I dealt with in the bars , were the same as these convicts, they were just
too successfull as bullies until they ended up in prison or on death row.
( a few bezerko exceptions)
The results of that research and the self defense training method of adrenal stress conditioning
through scenario based training which myself and others developed as a solution to the reality
of dealing effectively with the real world assailant, was the subject of my second book,
REAL FIGHTING : Adrenal Stress Conditioning Through Scenario Based Training. That book has sold so well it has apparently motivated readers
to order my first book, BOUNCER"S GUIDE faster than my publisher can print it ( thanks people!).
There is no real money in writing these books believe me. But I hope they
might keep somebody alive who otherwise would not be, or prevent some woman the horror of forceable rape because they
read them, absorbed their message and employed the experience and knowledge they offer.
Your first best defense strategy is AVOIDANCE, and this is made possible only by AWARENESS.
