1.0 out of 5 stars Not That Useful, 11 Oct 2004
By Mr D Kimber (GOSPORT, Hants United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
This book is written entirely for the American market and is useless to the British collector. The pricing guide is in dollars, as one would expect, and some of the rarest records and the companies that made them are simply missing. About as much use as an American car guide to a British Motor trader.

5.0 out of 5 stars An Essential For the collector of American Recods, 20 Jul 2001
By andrewjohncarter@hotmail.com (Staffordshire, England) - See all my reviews
Collectors of American Records look no further, here is the ultimate guide to pricing your records. If you are looking for a valuation of any American released record this is the place for you. With over 40,000 listings it is the most comprehensive book in its genre. I really liked the way it had a list of the records worth over $1000, it is an interesting read in places as well as an excellent reference. Its shortfallings for British collectors (and other non-americans) is that the prices are in dollars, but this is a minor obstruction easily overcome with a calculator and a copy of a daily newspaper

1.0 out of 5 stars flawed
I buy a lot of US albums and was hoping to get some useful info.
However, the author has a limited knowledge of really obscure albums and hence they are missing. Read more
