All things considered, this is a pretty good book, but I don't think it is professional at all. It has a weirdly big print (there's little inside, that is), too simple figures and it says very little about stereo miking too. Almost no detail is explained and no bibliographical reference is given (bad lack!); on the other hand it's clear and easy to understand. Very good the idea of the audio CD about the different ways of miking. For beginners anyway one of the best books about microphones and about how to use them, with a "maybe" too optimistic title...
