A great experience
I was honored to be asked to write the basketball section of this book and am really proud of the entire product. I think we tell the story of the emergence of the female athlete better than anyone has to date. Lissa Smith did a wonderful job of encouraging us to reach beyond the usual. I gave a copy to my daughter for Christmas -- she's a soccer and basketball player -- because I want her to know that her success and fun came from what these women did and are doing. -- Thanks --- Shelley Smith --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.
