I bought this book as I have recently purchased three chinchillas. I was hoping that it would have all the answers, but it provided only one....a solution to the problem of my wonky table. Lots of pics but no info! This is like a Hello pic spread of a chinchilla gala dinner!! All very well if you like staring at chinchillas, but personally.....

This book is very easy to read and covers a wide range of topics including amongst others feeding, housing, grooming, showing and health problems.

The book seems more applicable to chinchilla owners in the USA with many references to chinchilla ranches as a source of baby chinchillas as pets and certain types of chinchilla food which may be hard to find in the UK and europe. There are however numerouse snippets of information that can be used by anyone from the knowledgeable chinchilla breeder to the first time chinchilla owner. All in all; at the price its a good buy and a worthwhile addition to the chinchilla owners bookshelf
