Grandmaster Cho draws from his vast knowledge and 45 years of experience in Taekwondo to bring one of the most informative instructional books ever to go to print. With fool-proof instructions on 20 different types of kick, and advice on stretching and conditioning, this is the last word on the subject!

5.0 out of 5 stars the first choice for kicking., 26 Aug 2002
By A Customer
I own a number of books on kicking, including many reviewed on this site, and I must say this is the best. There is a practical no-nonsense style about it, and unusually for a taekwondo book does not concentrate on flashiness.
For each kick shown the main muscle groups used, and exercises and stretches that develop them are shown. Not much on variations and tactics as in masa shiomitsu’s book
But this is purely a technical manual and as one is excellent.
