5.0 out of 5 stars Dr. Aguilar has done a great service to Africa, 3 Oct 2001
By A Customer
In his latest book, Being Oromo in Kenya, Dr. Aguilar has done a remarkable and thourough job of telling the story of a nation undergoing significant change in the last several decades. I particularly like the clarity of his writing. Often scholarly writing gets convoluted with too much esoteric language. Finally, an African culture has been explained in plain English. I recommend it to anyone who his interested in studying social/religious development in modern Africa.
