Another of Nugugi's superb book of essays. Nugugi keeps working through the power of imaginative and reflexive lietrature to show us the contemporary world. Engaged with African society, Ngugi deals with the issues of colonialism and neocolonialism. An intelligent collection of essays in which the writer hits always the target and dissects acutely the problems of Africa in contemporary world.
