4.0 out of 5 stars All you need to know to make the most of your holiday, 17 Jan 2002
By A Customer
We recently made our first trip to Mauritius, armed with a number of travel guides. Lonely Planet's guide was consistently helpful: we knew what to expect, and were provided with a series of tips to get the most from every place we visited.

We had also used it to decide which hotel to stay in before making the trip, and again, it helped us make the right decision according to our budget.

There aren't many photos in the book, which is my only criticism, and is the only reason we felt it necessary to buy other guides - a picture speaks a thousand words, after all. Nevertheless, after a couple of days in resort, this was the only book we used, and I heartily recommend it to anyone even considering a trip to Mauritius.

I already had this book, but it got trashed after 2 weeks heavy usage, so was glad to be able to buy this issue specifically
