I toured the entire island and this book was extremely accurate. One of the animal reserves near Launceston had closed down. Otherwise brilliant.

You must go there and sample the Leatherwood honey near Mole Creek.

I recently spent a month in Tasmania and found that this book helped me get the very best out of my time in the most beautiful part of Australia. It helped me indentify the most suitable long-distance trek, The Overland Track. It allowed me to identify the parts of Tasmania that I most wanted to visit and directed me to some of the best small hostels and drinking holes in all Australia. If, like me, you only have limited time in this truly wonderful place then take this guide along and you won't go too far wrong!
