I have just read this great book. I would recomend it to anyone who has an interest in the island. I have been holidaying on Anglesey since I was quite small. My Nain, Dylis Davies, had a caravan next to ours on a lovely site near the Royal Charter Monument.She was friendly with many people who lived there and reading this book bought so many memories back to me, places, stories and mostly an overwhelming feeling of comfort and well being.
When reading the stories I felt that they were being told just for my benefit. Very absorbing, I don't know what to do now I have finished it. I feel I want to know more of the history of Anglesey. I hope Bunty can write a follow-up.

This book is really good. I was born and brought up in Anglesey and some of the tales in the book I can remember from my childhood. I can also confirm that the story of the spirit in Bryn Arfor is 100% true. Lynn and Charlie Cairns are my parents. They used to tell me about the ghost and all the weird stuff that used to happen. They also had a photo of the house with a misty figure standing at the window.

All in all, its a good read. I recommend it.
