I don't normally read crime novels but this was recommended to me by a friend, and I loved it. Karl Kane is a great character and brings a great dark humour to the narrative, and the story itself is a real page-turner. I read this in one sitting and have already read two more of Sam Millar's books. If you want a gripping well-told story with a narrator you care about, this is the book for you. Highly recommended.

This book is terrifying and should be read with caution. It is very graphic and extremely dark. If you want a page-turner for dark winter nights, Bloodstorm is for you...if you dare...
