I love this book so much, I have read it over and over again and it never fails to make me laugh out loud every time! Being born and bred in Aberdeen, I understand mostly every word although sadly not a lot of it is used nowadays, it's mostly phrases i've heard my grandma say. The way Norman changes the words and expressions into everyday english is brilliant and is what will make you laugh the most. The only thing missing is the expression "the toon" which translates as Aberdeen City Council (well it did to my grandma anyway!) Buy it!!
