As ever, Barbara Michaels's books are well-written and amusing. Erin secures a job as a low-level political aide to a candidate for the Senate, but finds that mysterious things are happening, threats against the candidate. It's interesting watching Erin's character development as she becomes more confident, the relationships between the team and the mechanics of the political process. Great fun.
