this is largely a photographic record of the notorious punk bands early days(early and mid 1976 before they had a recording contract)mixed in are newspaper/music press articlesand wry commentary from the photographer responsible for the photos-which largely featurethe band in concert,walking around london,recording their first record(anarchy in the uk)and wrecking hotels on the appropriatelytitled 'anarchy' tour.very interesting, withlots of fascinating little snippets from the press of the time,and despite appearences definately not a 'cut and paste' standard music biog cash-in type of affair.

Required purchase for anyone even remotely interested in Punk Rock and the Sex Pistols. Super photos - especially the early ones and now updated to include Sid's post Pistols story and other stuff.
