This book spoke to me like a therapist, and as I worked through the exercises, it began to dawn on me that my weight problem had nothing to do with food. It was me that needed sorting out. I ate when I was lonley, upset or feeling low. The guidelines in the book have helped me realise how I needed to change myself and my life. In the last few months I have taken control of my life and have gradually weaned myself off all those comfort foods. It has not been a struggle, rather I am now simply eating when hungry. Wished I had found this book 20 years ago.

Good guide. Easy and simple suggestions. I tried this as my latest guide to happiness, having gone through several others before. Suggestions are simple to understand and easy to follow. But results are too slow...still they are real. I lost 4 pounds and on me...even that shows visibly.
