5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic for teenagers and adults to read, 16 Nov 2007
By L. Dyson "lissylee81" (UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This book is the only book a parent should have on depression, its fantastic tells you everything you should know about the causes of depression in children/teenagers and also tells you what to look out for and what to do once you know your child has a problem. This book is also suitable for teenagers to read themselves, is helpful for counsellors, and anyone with an interest really. Vicky Maud writes in a truly exceptional way about depression, she understands and cares and that comes through in her writing, she has a lot of experiences to share and is never judgemental. Worth every penny. I loved it and can't wait to read anything else she has written. As an adult who suffered depression as a teenager and as trainee counsellor I would recommend it.
